Policies and Warranty: Shipping and Handling: Shipping and Handling Charges: Shipping and handling charges are based on the size of your order and the shipping destination. This charge will be calculated after the order is prepared. We will notify you if there is an increase in the estimated shipping charge of your order prior to billing and shipping. Click on Estimated Shipping Charges, to see the estimated shipping charges for your order. Method of Shipment: We ship via UPS Ground or Canada Postal Service in Canada and the Continental US. Shipments of International orders will have an additional shipping cost applied and method of shipment will be determined at time of shipment. Delivery Time: Allow 4-21 business days for delivery of non-backordered items in Canada and the continental US. Allow additional time for shipments to International Orders. Returns and Exchanges: General: The policy of the Skeldon Bike Co. Ltd. is, Satisfaction or Money Refunded. All returns must be postmarked no later than 60 days from the original customer shipment date. Returns and exchanges must be in new condition and must include all instructions and original packing material. Customer pays all return shipping charges. Include a copy of your packing list with all returns. You must also give a full explanation of why you are returning the goods. We want to fix problems. Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Returns must be preauthorized by us and may be subject to a 10% re-stocking fee. These amounts will be deducted from the original amount billed and the remaining balance will be credited to the original credit card number or returned to you by mail in the form of company check or money order. Incorrect Item: If you received an incorrect item no extra charges will be incurred. We will replace incorrect items and pay the additional shipping charge. Customer Order Error: Incorrect customer orders can be exchanged for any other item without paying the restocking charge. However, the customer will pay the additional shipping and handling charge. Return Shipping Instructions: Return via prepaid UPS, US mail or Canada Post. Use original packaging. Insure shipment for full value of purchase. We are not responsible for packages lost during return shipping. Return/Exchange Instructions: Enclose a copy of your packing list or E-mail Invoice along with detailed return/exchange instructions. Send exchanges and returns to: Skeldon Bike Co. Ltd. Sales Tax: GST is charged on all Canadian orders. Provincial Sales tax is charged on Canadian orders, if required by law. No tax will be charged on US and International orders. Payment Methods: Orders are calculated in Canadian $. Payment can be made by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or money order, or by personal check if a residence of Ontario, Canada. Purchases by Credit Card are verified for your protection. Personal checks may have to clear the bank before shipment of large orders. Backordered Items: Backorders: If an item is backordered, we will notify you via e-mail. Credit cards will not be billed, or personal checks deposited, until orders are ready to ship. Shipments scheduled more than 30 days after the order date: We will notify you via email and give you a cancellation option. Filling backorders: Backorders will be filled before new orders when the backordered items become available. Pricing and Selling Policies: Prices are subject to change without notice. Mistakenly posted prices on the web site do not obligate us to those incorrect prices. We reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone for any reason. For goods valued between $200 and $2000 US, there should be no duty, but there may be a $5.00 US Postal service processing fee. Goods valued over $2000 US, require the services of Customs Broker. Call for the fee charged. For international orders, call for information. Method of Communication: Because the Skeldon Bike Co. Ltd. is a home based business with limited, phone answering capacity at this stage of the business startup, the preferred method of communication is E-mail or FAX.
