2) The Currie Bike:
The Currie bike is an bicycle with an electric drive. A Currie dealer, Funshares RV, is the first to use The Granny Bike conversion kit to connect two of his Currie mountain bikes together. This is a nice kit . It works as advertised. All pieces needed were included. It has been durable so far. Many hundreds of dollars less expensive that tandem double bikes or pedal carts. More fun that tandem bikes because you have conversation with the other rider, and more stable than a tandem bike if the rear rider makes a sudden shift in their weight. Nice for a leisurely ride, but do not expect to use it with high speed or sharp turning. Great for riding along with a second rider that can not drive a bike on their own!

My wife, son and I had a great time at Burningman with two bikes put together with your kit.
The Granny Bike kit was a wonderful way to allow two people to travel around together at The Burningman festival in the Nevada desert. We actually attached a third small bike to the back and had our 11 year old son join us on the expedition.
Very reasonably priced.

All I can say is that the Granny Bike is one of
the coolest kits two bikes could ever want. I've made two trips to the Black
Rock desert in Nevada, once using two touring bikes with skinnies, and once
using two hybrids and knobblies. I've even sailed a Granny Bike on the playa and
tacked back to camp - now that was fun. Of course I don't recommend that anybody
try the kind of fast sharp turning stunts that we do but its amazing how much
torque that aluminum frame will take. So far the kit has taken 20 days and
nights of total abuse at Burning Man and never failed - even after a 10 mile an
hour crash in the middle of the night - somebody left a telegraph pole in the
middle of the desert, go figure.
